RYAN / MUSICIAN & DJ

Ryan’s diverse experience in all aspects of music & event production, as well as a keen understanding of guest service will ensure that the music on your wedding day will be exactly what you are looking for. As a multi-instrumentalist proficient in guitar, upright bass, and ukulele the live music options are endless.

Ryan grew up in Chicago, IL and attended college at both University of Iowa and Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Currently Ryan resides in White Salmon, WA after moving to “The Gorge” area in 2009.

JACOB / MUSICIAN & DJ

Jacob grew up in small town Wisconsin and picked up the guitar at age 12, and It did not take long to become fully intrigued by the idea of exploring music. In 2009 Jacob moved to Portland, OR via train with a guitar and a suitcase. Portland has been home since and is a perfect place to live as a performer / singer / songwriter.

In 2020 Jacob appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” where he gained praise from some of the best in music. Nick of the Jonas Brothers said, “Jacob is connected to every word he sings”, and James Taylor said “he really has something”.

  • Jacob was our DJ for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. Gorge Music was easy to work with from start to finish. I definitely didn't have a whole list of songs, and they were able to put together a song list that kept people on the dance floor. Jacob also played guitar during cocktail hour and he also did our processional songs on guitar. He was also so nice, he came up to me a few times during the night asking if I needed a drink or anything else. I only had good experiences and had a lot of positive feedback from guests as well. He was adaptable with my love for Taylor Swift and even learned 2 songs acoustically that he performed while we walked down the aisle. Ryan provided the mics and speakers for the ceremony and it was all so smooth without any technical difficulties. He was so kind to all of our guests and accepted many requests throughout the night. We LOVED the aspect of having live music but also having a DJ and Ryan is truly the best of both worlds. 10/10 recommend!
